Pamporovo is Bulgaria's southernmost major ski resort — set in the Rhodope mountains around 1,650 m elevation, with gentle slopes that make it the most family- and beginner-friendly winter destination in the country. The drive from Sofia Airport is about 240 km, typically 3 h 30 min, with the final 80 km climbing through the Rhodopes via Plovdiv and Smolyan.
Most of our Pamporovo passengers arrive on winter ski charters or weekend Sofia connections, and a meaningful share travel in summer for hiking, the Snezhanka tower viewpoint and the old village of Shiroka Laka. Our minivan comfortably carries 4 adults with full ski and snowboard equipment, and equipment travels free.
From November to April every vehicle runs on winter tyres and carries snow chains for the final Rhodope climb. Drop-off is door-to-door — your hotel in the resort (Perelik, Orlovetz, Snezhanka, Murgavets), a guesthouse in Chepelare on the way up, or a chalet in Shiroka Laka.

How long does the Sofia Airport to Pamporovo transfer take?
About 3 hours 30 minutes in normal conditions. Winter weather and fresh snow on the final Rhodope climb above Chepelare can add 20–30 minutes.
Can you carry skis, snowboards and boot bags?
Yes — equipment travels free in our minivan. Please note the number of ski/snowboard bags in 'Additional requirements' so we set up the vehicle before pickup.
What happens if my flight is delayed?

Do you have winter tyres and snow chains?
All vehicles run winter tyres from 15 November to 1 April and carry snow chains on board for the final Rhodope climb to the resort.
Can the chauffeur stop at Bachkovo Monastery on the way?
Yes — Bachkovo is roughly on the route, just south of Asenovgrad. A short photo stop is complimentary; a longer visit is quoted as an hourly chauffeur extension.
